Modoo Game Privacy Policy
Modoo Game (the "App") offers seven minigames and leaderboards. This policy explains what the App collects, what it is used for, and how you can delete it.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you give us
- Account — only if you choose to sign up: your email address and password. The password is managed by Google Firebase Authentication and we cannot see it.
- Nickname — entered at sign-up and shown publicly on the leaderboards. Guests without one appear as "Anonymous".
- Country — the country your scores count toward on the country board, and the flag shown beside your name.
- Profile photo — optional, shown on the leaderboards.
- Age group — optional (Under 20 / 20s / 30s / 40s / 50+), used only for the age-group leaderboard. We never ask for your birth date.
- Game records — best score per game, weekly best, rounds played and when, and the tier calculated from them.
b. Information processed automatically
- Anonymous ID — every device gets an anonymous account (UID) even without signing in, so your records can be tied to you. It is not linked to your name or email.
- Province — if you allow location access and press "Find my province", the location stored on your device is turned into a province on the device, and only the province code is sent with your scores. Coordinates are never sent or stored, and location is never collected in the background.
- Advertising ID — Google AdMob may use your advertising ID (ADID/IDFA) to show and measure ads. On iOS it is used only if you allow tracking, and the App works the same either way. Premium subscribers see no ads.
- Push token — if you allow notifications: the device token plus device platform, app version and language.
- Device integrity — app attestation through Apple DeviceCheck / Google Play Integrity (App Check), to stop tampered apps from posting fake scores. It does not identify you.
- Crash reports — when the Android app crashes, the device model, OS version, app version and error details are sent to Firebase Crashlytics, without any user identifier.
- Subscription status — the App asks the store whether you are subscribed. Payments are handled by the App Store / Google Play, and we never receive your payment details.
c. What we do not collect
Your birth date, contacts, camera or microphone, location history, and usage analytics such as screens viewed or launch counts. The App contains no analytics SDK.

3. What other players can see
- The leaderboards show your nickname (or "Anonymous"), profile photo, flag, scores and tier to everyone.
- If you choose an age group you appear on that age-group leaderboard, so anyone viewing it can tell which group you chose.
- Your email address is never shown anywhere.
4. Third-party services
The App uses the services below, each under its own privacy policy.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, App Check, Crashlytics) — storing and processing accounts, profiles, game records, notifications and crash reports.
- Google AdMob — ad delivery and measurement.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription payments.
Data is stored and processed mainly in Google Cloud's Seoul (asia-northeast3) region; by the nature of these services some processing may take place abroad. We never sell your personal data.
5. Retention
- Your account, nickname, profile photo, country, age group, game records and push tokens are deleted when you delete your account.
- The summed scores of the country, province and age-group boards are totals over many players and remain in a form not linked to you.
- Records you left as a guest (without an account) are deleted on request.
- Crash reports are kept for Firebase Crashlytics' retention period (up to 90 days).
6. Your rights and how to delete
Go to Settings tab → Delete Account to delete your account and its data immediately; you disappear from the leaderboards at the same time. Change or remove your nickname, photo, country and age group in the Settings tab; turn notifications and location access off in your device settings; limit personalised ads in your device's ad settings and the App's ad privacy settings. To access, correct, delete or stop processing your data — or to delete guest records — email us below and we will act without delay.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS, and passwords are stored hashed by Google Firebase Authentication. The database is protected by per-document access rules: you can edit only your own profile, and only the server records scores. Requests to our servers are verified with App Check.
8. Children
The App is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that a child's data was collected, we delete it immediately.
9. Changes
When this policy changes we publish it here with a new effective date, and announce important changes in the App or its update notes.
