Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything?
Every game and leaderboard is free. If you like, the monthly Modoo Game Premium subscription removes ads and gives you unlimited game tokens, ad-free continues and a golden profile. New subscribers get a free trial, and the price is shown on the in-app subscription screen in your own store's currency.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by your store. In the App, go to Settings → Modoo Game Premium → Manage subscription to open the store's subscription page. You can also cancel on iPhone in the Settings app → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or on Android in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. After cancelling, your benefits stay on until the period you already paid for ends.
On a new phone, tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen.
Do I have to sign up?
No. As a guest you can play every game and join every leaderboard. An account keeps your records when you change phones and lets you set a nickname and profile photo. Everything you earned as a guest carries over to the account when you sign up.
What are game tokens?
Starting a round uses one token. You can hold up to 10, and one comes back every 30 minutes. When you have none, you can watch an ad for one; Premium subscribers have unlimited tokens.
Which leaderboards are there?
- Game leaderboards — weekly and all-time per game, viewable for everyone, your age group or your tier.
- Tier league — players in the same tier ranked by tier points.
- Showdowns — summed scores by country, province and age group.
Weekly boards restart every Monday at 00:00 Korea time.
My scores don't count toward a province.
Tap Find my province on the Rankings tab or on Home and allow location access. Your location is turned into a province on your device and only that is sent with your scores — coordinates are never stored. Only rounds played inside Korea count toward a province.
Why do you ask for an age group?
It is optional and only puts you on the age-group leaderboard. Choose it — or "Prefer not to say" — in Settings → Age group. We never ask for your birth date.
My score didn't reach the leaderboard.
Scores are saved while you are online. If the connection drops, the App keeps the score and sends it once you are back online. If it still doesn't show up after a while, email us.
How do I change the app language?
Go to Settings → Change language and choose 한국어 or English.
Deleting your account and data
In the App, Settings tab → Delete Account immediately deletes your account, nickname, profile photo, country and age group, and game records, and removes you from the leaderboards. The summed scores of the country, province and age-group boards are totals over many players and remain in a form not linked to you.
